    How-do-you-do, I've tried but well-nigh every solution I can find from the forums and I proceed to receive the post-obit error:

    "Importing didnt work! you might want to try reloading the page and and so try again"

    I take tried increasing the memory limit, and max-memory limit for admin. I've tried different browsers, clearing cache, and disabling all plugins. I've checked the server settings for cpanel and everything is fine. We have multiple other Enfold development sub-domain sites working off the same domain with no issue. I take purchased and installed Enfold countless times and accept come up across this consequence before on a few other theme imports. The "Structure" theme seems to never work on import and now the "2017" theme does non piece of work either (it has happened on a couple of other theme imports but I tin't remember which ones at present.).

    This issue seems to just crop up on some of the demo imports. I recently installed the "Ring Theme" and everything went smoothly. In this particular case I'grand trying to install the 2017 theme. When this happened the offset time I contacted you regarding the "Construction Theme" import issue I was having. After yous had tried unsuccessfully to troubleshoot the issue, yous had sent me the xml files to do an import through wordpress. Importing through wordpress did not work either – it simply just stalled and went nowhere so I ended upwards just restoring a site from a different customer that had used that same theme and carried on with the project so there was never really any resolution to the problem.

    We absolutely LOVE this theme and accept purchased over 30 licenses due to information technology'south stability and flexibility. Nosotros have multiple projects coming up that are slated to use this theme also, but if we are not able to successfully import the different theme variations it will non be a viable theme for u.s. to utilize for our upcoming projects. Hopefully nosotros tin can figure this out as I really don't want to switch to another theme!

    Thanks for the login details. I tried importing the Construction demo and I get that error as well. It seems like the server tin't handle the import as it returns a 500 internal server mistake on the admin-ajax.php WordPress file. Mayhap yous could effort contacting your hosting provider to see if they can see why the import causes that error?

    I accept the same problem. Yesterday it just worked. Since today it's incommunicable for me to import any demo data. Tried it a serveral times. No chance. Would love to run into a update too.

    This was never really resolved for me. It used to work on our server and so it just started throwing that vague mistake. The demo import on 1 or two would still import like before, but most will non piece of work (I remember the band demo did import). I concluded up having to utilize a completely different server to practice the demo import and then move everything over to our work server. Pain it butt for sure and adds extra time to a projection, just was spending hours and hours troubleshooting with no success (not to mention the frustration) so I just gave up.

    We're using Enfold less now on our projects due to the actress step involved, which is unfortunate considering I dear the theme. If this ever does get resolved, please let me know.

    Lamentable for the issues, it'due south usually the max_execution_time variable which causes this problem, because downloading the demo files will take longer than it'due south allowed to. Only maybe you lot could try importing the demo manually? If you volition find instructions in private.

    Hi Nikko,

    right now i had no gamble to import the demos from your backend by clicking one of the layouts. I had a little success to configure the php.ini on the server. Just i could simply put 120s max on the "max_execution_time". Correct at present i have more visible pictures and effects than before. I recollect i would need another 30 or 60 seconds to cease the import.

    The Trouble isn't really solved right at present, because my hoster only allows max. 120s. Why does it need so much time to import the demos? Will exist thankful for any assistance.

    Hi Christian,

    I can't really tell why it needs much time on your host, usually it would exist washed importing for several seconds. The only culling solution I tin remember of is import via xml.

    Hullo,

    Defining a higher memory limit in WordPress and if possible increasing the memory on the hosting server should resolve this outcome.

    To increase the WordPress memory limit please admission wp-config.php file and add the below line

                    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

    Alternatively demo data can be imported using XML file from Admin > Tools > Import > WordPress
    Make sure to cheque the option "Download and import file attachments" while importing.

    Please note this will not import the theme settings you may need to ready them up and upload if any images are missing from backend in one case the XML file is imported.

    i'm the i who is confused hither.
    i've washed it already with the xml file included in the theme (default demo xml file is missing) and didn't work neither : aught happens when importing manually the XML file.

    I'm sorry merely this is not what is written in your theme in one case installed : it says DEFAULT DEMO for the original one, and ENVELOPPE 2017 for the other one (french version). See it in the admin panel. In a previous thread about this issue, the moderator linked to all xml files in a dropbox (broken at present) and the xml file was called default.xml

    Please provide a solution and then that i can import the demo theme i bought, not some other one.
    Whatever information needed just ask i will be delighted to provide.

    Ok, I culd fix information technology, There was two issues, offset that I tryed import the them (enfold) direct from de Zippo that I downloaded from the Themeforest site, Inside the Cypher there was another zip chosen Enfold that works perfectly.
    The 2nd problem whith import the demo Ring had to do with my api Token that.

    I fully hold with Raymonbil, we have paid for a theme AND 6monts support and either we dont get support or when we do information technology'southward 2, or iii, or four days subsequently when the consequence has been solved by ourselves or avoided when not solved. And when you respond y'all bring no new solutions. This is non normal for a service we have paid for.

    Cheers for answering. But i'grand distressing to say that this is not what happened in my example. Equally you tin can see in the beginning ticket i opened (https://kriesi.at/back up/topic/default-demo-fault-message-at-import/#post-1140703) i didn't become any answer until ii,5 days after…. precisely i got an answer quicker when i wrote a message in here….

    And i wrote here because the back up system is presented as a forum which ways i'thou non supposed to open a new thread for an old consequence (this thread is open since November 15, 2017).

    In the end, everybody is lost in here : moderators (it must drive you crazy), the support system is a mess, and in the end we, customers, don't get the answers we demand and we must constitute our manner effectually to keep our ain customers happy with quality and time to market…

    Hope this volition help in improving your system : transform the forum into a knowledge base and deploy a proper back up system.
